Service List Forms

The PUCN maintains three official service lists as a means of keeping interested persons informed of open proceedings before the Commission, as well as PUCN utility and administrative agenda meetings.

In order to subscribe to a service list, you must complete, sign and return a service list request form to either the PUCN’s Carson City or Las Vegas office. Submittal instructions are included on the forms.

Please read the descriptions below to determine which service list, if any, you’d like to be placed on. You may subscribe to more than one.

  1. Request for Public Meeting Notices Form

List Description: Subscribers to this may choose to receive notice of Utility Agenda Meetings (up to 2 monthly) and/or notices of Administrative Agenda Meetings (scheduled as needed).

Notification Delivery: Subscribers may choose to receive notification either by email or U.S. postal mail. Email subscribers will receive the notices as PDF attachments. U.S. postal subscribers will receive a hard copy of the notice in the mail.

Subscription Renewals: Subscriptions must be renewed every six months.

  2. Master Service List Request Form

List Description: Subscribers to a Master Service list may choose to receive notification of all notices and orders issued in PUCN rulemaking dockets; notification of all initial filings before the Commission; notification regarding specific utility dockets (electric, gas, telecom, water, and railroad); or notification specific to a utility company or specialty list (examples include Sierra Pacific Power Company, Nevada Power Company, Renewable List, Nevada Bell List, and 252 Interconnection/Resale List). Subscribers could receive multiple mailings monthly depending on notification selections.

If you choose to be on any of the Master Service lists, you will be notified when an initial notice is issued that pertains to the utility type or utility company of interest.  In order to receive additional notices & orders, you must request in writing to be on the service list for that specific docket (see item #3 below).  Subscribers to the rulemaking list will receive notification of all notices and orders issued in rulemaking dockets.

However, the actual notice or order will not be included as an attachment to the email. U.S. postal subscribers will receive a hard copy of the notice or order.
