Gas Information
The Commission regulates the gas operations of Southwest Gas Corporation and Sierra Pacific Power Company d/b/a NV Energy, as well as several other small and discretionary gas service providers to ensure that customers receive reliable service at rates that are just and reasonable. The Commission oversees gas pipelines in a pipeline safety partnership between the Commission and the United States Department of Transportation Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration Office of Pipeline Safety.
